- O&M in the Spanish Mission Control Centre of The International Cospas-Sarsat Programme for Search and Rescue (www.cospas-sarsat.org), dealing with real-time reception, processing and distribution of distress alerts transmitted from radio beacons to different satellites. The SPMCC is the nodal centre with responsibility covering most of north Africa and the Middle East. Development of a Front-End application in .NET that connects to the operational SPMCC GIS DataBase (MS SQL Server 2008) to produce automated statistics and other utilities. Administration of the MS SQL Server database in the project, responsible for the Failover and Rollback procedures between the Operational and Backup Databases (Transaction Log Shipping). Development of a script in Bash that checks the Internet connection and stores date and time of a connection loss and its duration. The script automatically sends an e-email report to the Operations Manager every month that is included in the monthly report of System Performance and Activities for our client. Participation in the deployment at SPMCC of the new MEOSAR system as part of the Galileo SAR-GS. Development of the new operational procedures according to the Operational Scenarios and Communication Interfaces provided by the SGDSP (SAR-Galileo Data Service Provider). - O&M at the ESA - ESTRACK NETWORK ground station at Maspalomas Space Centre. - O&M at the EUMETSAT TT&C ground station at Maspalomas Space Centre (MSG BRGS) - O&M at the EUMETSAT-EARS project at Maspalomas, dealing with DSS, VCS and KSPT reception chains. - O&M (years 2003-2005) at CREPAD (http://crepadweb.cec.inta.es), dealing with the acquisition, processing and distribution of remote sensing data obtained from satellites such as NOAA LEO, SeaStar, METOP and ENVISAT.
