Stress Analysis Engineer on Spirit project for Airbus A350-900 S15 fuselage Concessions (T300).
Carried out in-depth concession investigation and applied structures experience in order to make judgement on the effect of non-conformity.
Multitude of Metallic and Composite analysis performed on various structures, including panel skins/stringers, frames, floor crossbeams/rails, window frames, clips & brackets.
Extensive experience demonstrated across all Fuselage structural components, including some ‘shadow’ checking performed across all Fuselage commodity structure. Good knowledge of Airbus Suffixes and SAP Specialist Tasks. Excellent tool-set knowledge and often train/guide other team members of all experience levels.
Various Tools used include SAP, ISAMI and excel. (The ISAMI modules well practiced in include: Filled Hole, Open Hole, Notch Sensitivity, FrameforISAMI, CSPS, Plain Strength, Static Plate and Damage Tolerance.)
Commodity Focal Point for Fuselage Frames; managing issues with analysis and communicating directly with customer commodity lead engineers to resolve problems and set precedence for analysis of Frame and Window Frame concessions.
Responsible for coordinating Window Frame concessions for all MSNs. This includes supporting other engineers with their analysis and stress justifications.
Worked briefly on Airbus site in Toulouse and Saint Nazaire; Responsibilities included responding directly to the customer's highest priority concessions, often with time critical requirements.

Stress analysis on Airbus A350-900 series aircraft. Mainly composite analysis, involving extensive use of ISAMI, Patran, Nastran, Mumble, and MS Excel.
Good understanding of loading and FEM interrogation and use in analysis. Including minor detailed FEM studies to aid in analysis where required.
Some of my responsibilities and activities have included responding to build concessions, analysing weight saving opportunities, first flight clearance and PSS/Stress dossier creation.
