  • I work for a small Iberian group specialized in consultancy on project and portfolio management and implementation of software tools. I lead Consultancy and Implementation Projects. The last big project I managed took place mainly in Brazil, involving a local and a North American team. As Engagement Manager I:
    • Planned and scheduled the activities of several teams, and coordinated follow up meetings (there were regular conference call meetings with Portuguese and English speaking participants);
    • Prepared, planned and executed training sessions in Portuguese and in English;
    • Identified the necessary Scorecards and Tableau de Board needed by the PMO (Project Management Office) to provide regular, standardized and relevant scheduling and financial  information to and from 20 Department Heads and their 150 Project Managers;
    • Identified rules and requirements regarding the use of time sheets for the 1500 users;
    • Prepared the project management documents for weekly monitoring and control;

  • In a recent project, I devised a phased implementation of COBIT in a financial institution. I identified a preliminary set of IT Controls to implement, Assessed the maturity of these areas, coordinated the planning of activities to implement process improvements and was the Engagement Manager of specific Implementations.
  • I also prepare, manage and execute training sessions in IT Governance (COBIT 5), Portfolio and Project Management (inc. PMBoK), Microsoft Project, and Quality Management (ISO 9000).
  • I have been providing consultancy on Quality Management and Executing ISO 9000 Quality Audits in Clients in the ICT business.
  • For some years, I have been running the Portuguese office. The local team is around 10 people.

  • I planned, scheduled, monitored and controlled the activities of the company in order to obtain the official accreditation as training entity (issued by the government office INOFOR).
  • I participated as consultant in several Process Engineering projects.
  • I participated in the elaboration and implementation control of a Software Development & Testing Methodology.
