Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analytics - maximising the value of the data captured from multiple sources;
  • Working with Business Unit colleagues to support standard and non-standard pricing solutions through delivery and interpretation of analysis, taking into consideration the cross BU impact on other services and other markets
  • Supporting Manager, Data Analytics in developing and maintaining monthly commercial KPI reports;
  • Interface with key stakeholders, presenting data and key insights to both expert and non-expert audiences;
  • Deliver insightful customer behaviour analysis and predictive analysis of price changes;
  • Run ad hoc reports for key stakeholders;
  • Ownership of the vetting, approval and logging processes for rate plan applications.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Highly numerate with strong commercial awareness and thinking;
  • Complex problem solving skills, particularly in relation to large data sets;
  • Excellent and demonstrable analytical and modelling skills;
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data and translate this into meaningful value-add end user analysis;
  • Experience of data analysis in a telecommunications industry including both data and voice services would be advantageous;
  • Good written and oral communication skills; experience working with multiple internal departments including both technical and commercial staff as well as external customers on a global basis;
  • Highly motivated self-starter, comfortable working on both independent and team projects;
  • Working knowledge of analytical software:
    • Excel: Moderate/advanced
    • MS Office: Moderate
    • SQL: Preferable
    • Tableau: Preferable but not essential
    • Alteryx:  Preferable but not essential
    • Other Analytics Tools: Preferable but not essential
